Albania, known locally as Shqipëria or the “land of eagles”, has quickly evolved from Europe’s best-kept secret into one of its most exciting, multi-faceted travel destinations. Nestled in the Western Balkans it has borders with Montenegro to the North, Greece to the South and North Macedonia and Kosovo on its eastern edge.
